Battery and subscription

It runs on a built-in battery you recharge over USB-C (cable not included) by detaching the doorbell with the included tool, so no doorbell wiring is needed. Rewatching videos and AI alerts require a Ring Protect subscription. It works with Alexa: announcements on Echo Dot and video on Echo Show.
