This is the new-generation SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, which SanDisk says is nearly twice as fast as the previous model, here in a 2 TB capacity. At the time of writing it holds a 4.6/5 average from more than 178 Amazon ratings.

Speed
SanDisk lists up to 2000 MB/s, nearly 2x its previous generation, and says you can move 1,000 high-res photos in under 60 seconds. To reach that speed, your computer needs a USB port fast enough (USB 3.2 Gen 2x2); on regular USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports it runs at about the previous model's speed.
Toughness and security
It's IP65 rated against spills and dust and protected against drops of up to 3 m. The pocket-size design fits small bags, and 256-bit AES hardware encryption with password protection keeps private files secure.
