Cameras and battery

Each camera offers 1080p HD live view, infrared night vision and two-way audio, with dual-zone enhanced motion detection. Blink lists up to two years of battery life with the included AA Energizer lithium batteries, so there's no wiring. The kit includes three cameras, a Sync Module Core, six AA batteries, three mounting kits, a USB-C cable and a power adapter.

Storage and subscription

The included Sync Module Core doesn't offer local storage. To save and share clips in the cloud, and to get person detection, you need a Blink Subscription Plan (30-day free trial). For local backup, you'd need a Sync Module XR with microSD or a Sync Module 2 with a USB drive, sold separately. It works with Alexa for multi-camera live view and arming by voice.
